Power Vacuum

Posted by admin | Comments (0)

Once a month, our family does general home cleaning as a family activity and there are really tons of tasks to be done. We usually do the tasks in a rotation so no one gets the feel that he alone is always doing the heavy tasks. Anyway, next weekend is going to be another home cleaning day and I’m all excited about it. This is because I am now assigned to clean the floor and carpets. With our new Dyson vacuum cleaner, I’m pretty sure that this is going to be a breeze for me.

Dyson vacuum cleaners are the best house cleaning equipment in the market today. They are powerful and will definitely make your cleaning experience really easy. Dyson vacuum cleaners are also easy to use that even a child can probably use them. In addition to that, the style and design of their vacuums are great. I’m now looking forward to cleaning our home ever since I got my hand on our Dyson vacuum cleaner. I just hope I get assigned to such chore more often.

Selling Annuity – Saving a Life

Posted by admin | Comments (0)

My dad got hospitalized last week and we are in desperate need of cash to pay off the hospital bills and buy some of his medicines. We called up my aunt to ask for some help but she couldn’t help us because she was also out of cash. My grandmother knew about this and she gave up a call. She volunteered to sell annuity payments so we can have the money we need. My grandmother is currently receiving annuity payments for her retirement plan and it’s just enough for her personal expenses.

We were relieved and grateful that my grandmother offered her help to us. Though her money is just enough for her, she was willing to make a sacrifice for his son-in-law. I’ve always thought that she was just another grumpy old woman that only sees the mistakes of younger people. Because of what happened, she has shown me her true heart. My father is now home but he is still taking some medicines. The doctor says that he’s going to be alright; thanks to Grandma.

Teaching as a Noble Profession

Posted by admin | Comments (0)

Karen is one of my cousins; she had finished a degree in psychology last year. She always has planned to work abroad because her belief is that working abroad would give her family a better life. A few months after she graduated, she applied at a hospital abroad to be one of the hospital’s psychologists. Her application was denied because one of the requirements is to have a master’s degree in psychology. After that she have enrolled on an course in http://www.sbftlauderdale.com/, she taught that this would be the most convenient way for her to study and work at the same time.

They were a bit broke so she had to finance her studies by working as a psychology professor in one of the state university. Though she did not earn that much as a professor she enjoyed teaching and she also has finance his online master’s degree and as well as helping her family. After finishing her master’s degree she had already lost her interest of going abroad. Now she is thinking more on how to pursue her teaching career. Last time that I saw her, she said that though her salary is not that big she is a lot happier now because she enjoys what she is doing.

It Runs in the Family

Posted by admin | Comments (0)

My cousins love to travel and in young ages, they have been to places that even I haven’t been to yet. Well, the main reason for this is that this type of lifestyle just runs in our family. It’s just that my parents are not as rich as theirs are so I don’t get to travel as often as they can. My cousins would often book in companies like hostels247.com because it saves them more time in organizing group travels. Last summer they took a break and they had students group booking in Rome hostels organized for them.

They just had the perfect time of their lives their and they didn’t even had any hassle organizing the holiday. Well, I guess that’s really the advantage of group bookings. You can get a company to organize a holiday for you, they book you in the nice hostel or hotels and all you have to do is relax while your holiday is being arranged for you. My cousins are actually inviting me to join them once in their holiday, probably this coming year, but I don’t think this would be possible. Besides from being busy at work, I don’t have enough funds to spend during the holiday. With dedication and hard work that I put in my job, I might be able to join them in their travels and adventures someday. Who knows, I might even be able to afford to treat them in a holiday.

Interesting Books

Posted by admin | Comments (0)

While looking for a gift for my girlfriend for Christmas, I found a book for a business intelligence course and I got interested in it. I got to read some parts of the book and learned a few principles out of them. Because of this, I thought that taking a business course would be great. Though I did not the book yet, I think I will in the near future. For now, my money is enough to by a book for my girlfriend and give it as a Christmas present for her.

My girlfriend likes mind twisting books and one of her favorite books is “The Da Vinci Code”. Though my girlfriend has already read this book by borrowing one from another friend, she never had one. She likes to borrow the book from her friend once in a while and read it. Well, because of that, I did not have any hard time to think of what present to give her. I’m also thinking of giving her a nice necklace but too bad my budget is currently limited to afford that.

Best Christmas Movie of All Time

Posted by admin | Comments (0)

The Movie entitled “A Christmas Story” which was released in the year 1983 was recognized by AOL.com as the best among the best Christmas movies of all time.

There’s nary a scene to forget in this near-perfect nostalgic look at where Americana and Christmastime meet. The story of a young boy’s epic quest to get his hands on a Red Ryder BB gun provides the hilarious backdrop for a timeless tale rife with family hijinks, frozen tongues and, of course, sex-oozing leg lamps.

Merry Christmas to all!

Behind the Humor

Posted by admin | Comments (0)

Behind every joke and every funny thing that comes from me, there are serious thoughts and dreams playing in my mind. Though I am a person that seems to be easy going, still studying and currently working for a low paying job, I know that there’s something bigger for me. I know that someday I can succeed and reach all my dreams. Who knows how soon I can have my own office with TANDBERG Video Conferencing Systems that can be used for meetings and conferences.

Having my own IT business has been my dream since I was a child and I will do everything just to reach it. This is not the biggest of dreams but for a common person like me, making it come true means a lot to me. I have given every I can in everything that I do and it has been great for me so far. Determination is my greatest asset and my good sense of humor is my best treasure. No matter how tough the situation maybe, I always find a way to make it through with a smile.

Akon Rocks!

Posted by admin | Comments (0)

Akon won his first American Music Award last night for Best Male Soul/R&B artist, beating out hyphenated hitmakers Ne-Yo and T-Pain. The Senegalese star’s first major U.S. award victory comes on the heels of his three big wins at the World Music Awards two weeks ago when he pulled down a trio of prestigious trophies including Best Selling R&B star in the world, topping superstar artists such as Beyonce, Timbaland, Rihanna and others.

Akon’s 5 million selling album Konvicted continues to set new records across the globe, yielding the #1 hits “I Wanna Love You,” and “Don’t Matter,” and the #2 Grammy nominated “Smack That” featuring Eminem. Akon also became one of three artist in music history to simultaneously lockdown the #1 and #2 positions on the Billboard Hot 100 Singles chart. Akon became the top selling mastertone artist of all time this summer, achieving a phenomenal 11 million in total mastertone sales, the most of any other artist since the inception of mastertones.

Akon’s mastertone hits include songs from his 1.4 million selling 2005 debut album Trouble. His top-selling ringtone offerings from Konvicted “Smack That” (certified by RIAA triple platinum), “Don’t Matter” (double platinum), and “I Wanna Love You” (double platinum), make him the only artist with three tracks from the same album to ever achieve multi-platinum ringtone status. The star’s “Smack That” was the top selling mastertone of 2006 (Nielsen Mobile), reaching #2 on the Billboard Hot Digital Songs Chart, and making Akon the biggest ringtone seller ever via the nation’s largest mobile carrier, AT&T.

Check out Akon as he will perform on Dick Clark’s Rockin’ New Years Eve Special.

Grandparents Visit

Posted by admin | Comments (0)

My grandparents seldom visit our house but they just did last weekend. I was glad to see both of them after a while and we gave them a warm welcome. My grandmamma hugged me and kissed my cheeks. My mom had to go to the supermarket for a while and I was the only one left to entertain them and make them feel at home. Everything was great except for the fact that they are asking me Questions for a Kitchen Designer. Well, that was just and exaggeration. They were trying to ask me questions that an ordinary person like me couldn’t answer.

My mother got back from the supermarket bringing the groceries needed to make a good dish for my grandparents. Since they’re digestive system is no longer as strong as ours, there are a lot of foods that they can no longer eat. My mom prepared a weird dish for them; some mashed potatoes and steamed vegetables. To be honest, this is not my type of meal. Anyway, I don’t want to get them a feel that they are weird people eating a weird meal so I just forced myself to eat.
