My grandparents seldom visit our house but they just did last weekend. I was glad to see both of them after a while and we gave them a warm welcome. My grandmamma hugged me and kissed my cheeks. My mom had to go to the supermarket for a while and I was the only one left to entertain them and make them feel at home. Everything was great except for the fact that they are asking me Questions for a Kitchen Designer. Well, that was just and exaggeration. They were trying to ask me questions that an ordinary person like me couldn’t answer.

My mother got back from the supermarket bringing the groceries needed to make a good dish for my grandparents. Since they’re digestive system is no longer as strong as ours, there are a lot of foods that they can no longer eat. My mom prepared a weird dish for them; some mashed potatoes and steamed vegetables. To be honest, this is not my type of meal. Anyway, I don’t want to get them a feel that they are weird people eating a weird meal so I just forced myself to eat.

Presents make people feel special and most people are probably expecting a gift in special occasions. I’m already starting to think on what gift to give my girlfriend this Christmas and I’m really having a hard time. Actually, I’m undecided on what to choose among three different gift options. Dulce has always wanted a Swatch watch and she would definitely be happy if I would give her one as a present. Blue is her favorite color so that should be the color of the watch.

Though she wants a watch, I prefer something else more special. A friend advised me that a necklace is one of the most special gifts that I can give her for Christmas. I have been saving since we got together and I have a good budget to buy her one. However, I’m really caught between these two gift options. The last option and the one that is least likely to be chosen is a simple candlelight dinner in a fancy restaurant because I don’t think she’ll appreciate this much as a gift.

Have you ever felt that you wanted to get a new life and start it all over again to make things right? Well, I just did and it’s just said to think that no matter how hard you wish that it could happen, it never will. What’s even worse is that you can see what should have been your situation if you just did things the other way. Yeah… Life sucks this much and it hurts like hell. Since I can’t get a new life, what if I just go to a far new place where no one knows me. Like taking Spain holidays and just staying there for good.

Well, I’m not expecting that a lot of people will understand what I feel but I just needed to let this out. I’m having a mix of emotions and I’m probably going insane. The thing is I don’t exactly know what to do and where to start to fix things. All the bad things that happened in my life have all piled up and it cannot be considered as a challenge any more but plainly bad luck. Anyway, I guess there no point it this either. I guess I better sleep and try to forget about these things… (hiccup!) Forgive me for the effect of alcohol.
