Dulce and I are going celebrate out first year together this month and before this, she would like to introduce me to a few of their family members. Before this, the only one from her family that I’ve met is Rose who is one of the top Arizona living trusts. The meeting with her turned out well and I think we did like each other. I think she does like me for her cousin. Soon I’ll be meeting some more of her cousins and to be honest I’m not quite sure if I’m really ready for that.

This meeting of some of my girlfriend’s relatives is something that’s not usual for me. I mean, my friends also have relationships that are probably already more than a couple of years but they never met their girlfriend’s relatives yet. Well, I love my girlfriend and I don’t mind doing this absurd thing for her. I’m probably just going to keep quite and not try to impress too much. This introduction to her family is going to be this weekend and I hope everything will turn out well.

Next week is already going to be Christmas and as a tradition, our company holds a small Christmas party for its employees each year. This party is probably the only event that employees in our company really look forward to because the company gives away cash prizes, gift certificates and grocery package. The employee awards night is also going to be held in this event where employees that showed exemplary performance will be given recognition and rewards.

Aside from gifts and prizes, we also look forward to the games where we get to have fun. Our Christmas party is not just a party for celebrating our savior’s birth but also a great team activity for us. We get to know more about our co-workers and make friends with them. This event is where I actually got introduced with my current girlfriend; another thing why men in the company likes this event. Anyway, the best thing about this is there’s going to be no work on that day!

While at home and doing nothing but day dreaming, a knock at the door puffed the cloud above my head. This was definitely a bad time to disturb me because I was in the middle of a nice dream. I went to the door and found out that it was Liza, an old friend I used to hang out with. According to her, she just visited be me because he was in town to visit his parents. We had a small chit chat and she told me of her travel experiences like Ixtapa vacations and cruises.

Our conversation lasts for about a couple of hours and that was probably the quickest two hours of my life. Time flew like the wind and she was leaving in a blink of an eye. We had to say or goodbyes for now because she has an appointment to rush to. We exchanged digits and promised each other to get in touch more often. I can’t really explain what I felt because of her visit but it was definitely positive. I hope this is not going to be our last meeting as I’m already looking forward for the next one.
