Hep down to your Doctor’s Surgery right away!

Posted by admin | Comments (0)

It may seem easy to ignore the symptoms of Hepatitis, but if you’re worried that you might have contracted it, then it’s essential to get your butt down to the Doctors for a simple blood test. If you do find that you have contracted Hepatitis then don’t freak out, there’s an amalgam of treatments and even proven cures out there to help you.

Approximately 99% of Hepatitis C sufferers made a full recovery when given pegylated interferon and ribavirin treatments. This is a relatively new discovery, made in 2007 and targets one of the two most common strains, HCV. Other likely treatments include long courses of antibiotics, ‘Interferon’ injections and liver transplants, should the symptoms get nasty.

Whether you’re dealing with Hepatitis yourself, know someone who has it or are simply interested in raising awareness then you could be helping out the World Hepatitis Alliance a great deal. Ask your friends to join you and millions of others in signing the ‘Am I Number 12?’ campaign at www.aminumber12.org, which refers to the harsh fact that one in twelve people have contracted the virus.

Cool From Within

Posted by admin | Comments (0)

Being cool doesn’t only require your outside appearance to be good looking but you also need to be cool inside your body. You can also be cool from within if you keep yourself healthy. I do workout in the gym three times a week and I maintain a healthy and fat-free diet. In addition to that, I drink Uji Matcha tea everyday instead of coffee. Drinking tea is something that my grandmother taught me. I didn’t like it at first but I came to realize how drinking tea is healthy and I just got to learn to drink it regularly.

If there’s anything that I really avoid, it’s eating fast foods. This type of food is full of fat and salt; two components of food that are totally unhealthy. The human body should also get enough sleep so I get at least eight hours of sleep. Others say that you are sleeping a third of your life if you sleep eight hours in a day. But I’d say, you are going to live longer if you give your body enough rest to recover. So, are you cool inside and out?
